TECHDLITE - Moneyplus

History

Should go back to my old days when I was doing a job with decent pay package.But as usual by the end of the month I am left with no money and I had to take hand loan from my friends in the company.(They were sure that I will pay back and I did :) My dad used to ask me what happened to my salary do you have any track of it.How much you saved til now ? etc etc. I had no answers as I have no idea where my money was going.I used to spend and spend without ever tracking it.



Enlightenment

One fine day I got enlightened by (thanks to my dad) and wanted to keep track of my money.First thing I did was maintained a pocket book for it and was manually entering and totalling etc it went on for few weeks and then I realised how stuipid I was and then moved to MS Excel . Now things started brightening up I used to enter my earnings and my expenses on daily basis this went on for few months but again I felt that I am spending lot of time on it not using it but working on excel , maintaining excel sheet(s) was difficult as the data started growing....

Pulling up sleeves


Then I thought I should have a application that will take care of my money management without the hassle of maintaining it. I opened up Google and found few good applications on the net but they did not fit my requirement of being simple,  user friendly and lightweight.

Thanks to Universe at the same time I was out of my job (company gave me a rather pleasant surprise) guess what I had plenty of time :) .Then I started writing the application myself as I am basically a .net trainer (NIIT and other institutes) and branched out to a programmer.I was all alone developing the application (always felt I need someone to discuss and share ideas with :( ) which included designing coding,testing ,setup and lot others....


General notion that only business have to keep track of the money is not true . Every individual who is earning should maintain the cash inflow and outflow details which will help in many ways like controlling the unnecessary expenses which can be diverted to savings.It would also motivate to earn more and become Rich...

That is how "Moneyplus" came into reality....
